Statistical Report of the 28th China International Composites Exhibition
The 28th China International Composites Industry Technology Exhibition successfully concluded on September 18, 2025, at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). The exhibition brought together the latest cutting-edge technological achievements in the industry, inviting renowned experts to gather in Hongqiao and share in this annual grand event for the global composites field. This year’s exhibition covered an area of 71,000 square meters, with 852 exhibitors and a total of 27,607 visitors, achieving a record high of 35,002 attendances, demonstrating the robust vitality of the composites industry.
Building upon and deeply inheriting the rich traditions and strengths accumulated from previous exhibitions, this year’s exhibition further focuses on the latest trends in the global composite materials industry and the industry’s urgent need for cutting-edge technologies. With the theme of “Sustainable Development and Intelligent Manufacturing,” it clearly outlines a high-quality development path for China’s composite materials industry, driven by “intelligent manufacturing” and grounded in “green” principles. Nearly 100 professional events were held concurrently with the exhibition, including high-level forums, technical lectures, press conferences, and technical training sessions, showcasing the cutting-edge achievements and application practices of composite materials in green transformation and intelligent upgrading.
The 21st “CCE-JEC” Innovative Product Selection Event saw 70 innovative products from 63 companies compete, representing a more than 20% increase in the number of participating companies compared to the previous year. Ultimately, 13 innovative products stood out. The 9th “Innovative Application and Development of Carbon Fiber and Advanced Composite Materials” High-Level Forum brought together senior guests from COMAC, Guangzhou Saiao, CRRC Changchun Railway Vehicles, Sinoma Blades, and others to discuss new development trends in aviation, sports, rail transit, wind power, and carbon fiber.
The “Innovative Applications of Bio-based Composite Materials” forum focused on the latest achievements in natural fibers and bio-based resins, providing new ideas for the large-scale commercial application of green composite materials;
The “Digital Technology and Intelligent Manufacturing of Composite Materials” thematic forum explored the latest digital technologies and intelligent manufacturing trends in the composite materials industry, promoting industrial transformation and upgrading;
The 5th “Recycling and Reuse of Fiber Composite Materials” high-level forum, centered on the theme of the circular economy of composite materials, provided practical guidance for the industry’s green transformation.
The 8th International Symposium on Innovation in Automotive Composite Materials shared classic cases of green composite material applications in new energy vehicles worldwide, analyzed the impact of European composite material recycling regulations on the automotive industry chain, and looked ahead to the future direction of industry development; 22 special technical lectures, covering all aspects of the composite material industry chain, greatly benefited the audience;
The 10th “Shangwei Cup” National College Student Composite Material Design and Manufacturing Competition, themed on the connection design and testing of wind turbine blade main beams and webs, attracted 38 university teams to participate. In addition, other activities such as the 7th Composite Material Vocational Skills Competition, 5 themed press conferences, and a special technical training session on “Composite Material Standardization and Testing” also attracted many on-site audiences.
This year’s exhibition attracted 852 exhibitors from 18 countries and regions, including 737 from mainland China, 12 from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, and 103 from overseas. International exhibitors came from Germany (20), South Korea (18), the United States (16), Japan (11), France (10), Italy (5), as well as the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, North Macedonia, Russia, Norway, Sweden, and the Netherlands.
